SRI MAAN SANT BABA GIAN SINGH JI MAHARAJ
Sri Maan 108 Sant Baba Gian Singh Ji Maharaaj followed Sri Maan 108 Sant Baba Basant Singh Ji as the head Sant at Nirmal Kutia Johal.
With the growth of the Sikh community in the United Kingdom there became a pressing need to promote understanding and adherence to the fundamental principles of Sikhism, Rehat Maryada and Amrit Sanchar. As a result Sant Baba Gian Singh Ji came to the UK in the early 1980s and established Gurdwara Amrit Parchar Dharmik Diwan Bradford in October 1982.
Sant Baba Gian Singh Ji also travelled to the US, Canada, and a number of countries in Europe, promoting a message of humanity and spirituality wherever they graced with their presence. Sant Baba Gian Singh Ji merged with the supreme on the 6th November 2001.
When the pitcher is filled with water,
the water contained within it seems distinct.
Says Nanak, when the pitcher is emptied out,
the water mingles again with water
