SERVICES
This Gurdwara offers the following services:
- All religious ceremonies are Nishkam (free).
- The three main ceremonies are the Akhand Path, non-stop recitation of the Guru Granth Sahib (which takes 48 hours), Sukhmani Sahib (recitation of part of a selected section of the Guru Granth Sahib) , and a Sehaj Paat, a start-stop recitation of the entire Guru Granth Sahib
- Amrit Sanchar - the baptism service.
- Every morning there is recitation of the Panj Banis Path (morning prayers) and every evening there is recitation of the Rehraas Path (evening prayers).
- Punjabi classes up to A level standard.
- Tabla Classes,
There are Akhand Path's every weekend and on every main Gurpurb (important dates in the lives of the Gurus). An Akhand Path begins at 10.00am every Friday and concludes at 10.00am on Sunday. The ceremony at the start of the Akhand Path is referred to as the Arambh and the ceremony at its conclusion as the Bhog. After the Bhog, from 10.00am to 10.30am , morning Langar (free kitchen) takes place, whilst from 10.30am till 1.00pm recitation of religious hymns (Kirtan) occurs.
